A Manitowoc man is facing several charges after he allegedly attacked an individual they live with and Manitowoc Police Officers.
Three officers were dispatched to a residence just after 3:00 this morning (December 20th) on a report of domestic violence.
The caller told dispatch that a man they live with was beating them up.
Their relationship was redacted from the police report.
When the police arrived, an individual came running up to them and said, “I am fearful for my life.”
They claimed the 26-year-old man was drunk and had punched them multiple times.
While one officer was speaking to the victim, the other officers approached the suspect.
At some point, a scuffle ensued, leading to one officer to draw his Taser, but never fired it.
The man was eventually detained and was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Battery, each with Domestic Violence Orders, as well as Strangulation and Resisting an Officer.
