Those who run the Manitowoc Warming Shelter are thanking those who helped them raise money at a recent event.
Pastor Matt Sauer called the fundraising event called “Baby It’s Cold Outside” a major success, as over $6,000 was raised for the warming shelter.
Bake Leaders from nine churches organized to prepare and present hundreds of baked items that were offered at the event for donation.
Also, Scores of local merchants, business leaders and service organizations donated beautiful gift baskets for raffle, and several groups provided their musical talents.
Pastor Matt expressed his gratitude, telling SeehaferNews.com, “We are deeply grateful to those who made our concert a success with their generous donations, and to the musicians themselves who, through their time, work, and heart presented us with a memorable afternoon of hymns, sacred songs, and Christmas classics. We thank you all and wish you all the blessings of the season.”
