A Brown County environmental group is inviting the public to learn more about one of nature’s nocturnal enigmas.
The Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve and Bay Beach Wildlife are teaming up for a special 2-hour owl program.
Registered participants will learn about the owls that call the waterfowl preserves the home on (Friday) January 3rd, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and search for the nocturnal birds with a one-hour-long naturalist-led hike.
Ticket prices are $5 per person, but children meeting the age requirements of 2 years or under will get free admission.
No refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled.
Pre-registration can be done at BrownCountyParks.org
