Some cities around the area have lifted their winter parking bans for the holiday season.
Two Rivers, Kiel, and Plymouth, have all announced the winter parking bans have been or will be lifted ahead of Christmas.
Two Rivers announced yesterday (December 23rd) that its parking ban is no longer in effect, meaning cars can be parked on the streets for the time being.
In Kiel, starting at midnight today (December 24th) and continuing until midnight on January 2nd, residents and guests will be able to park on the streets without the need to call in for permission.
Plymouth’s winter parking enforcement was also suspended yesterday and will remain that way until January 6th.
All three municipalities have asked residents to stay informed as these situations may change in the event of snowfall during the holidays.
Residents are asked to stay up to date with possible changes by checking the respective police department’s Facebook pages for updates.
