Two local financial experts have been promoted to partner at Hawkins Ash CPAs.
Kevin Behnke, CPA joined the Hawkins Ash team in 1997, and specializes in audit services for government entities, including municipalities and school districts.
He serves as the Firm’s Director of Quality Control at the Manitowoc Office, is a member of the Accounting and Auditing Committee and IT Steering Committee, and is the designated audit quality partner for the AICPA Government Audit Quality Center.
Additionally, Kevin chairs the Firm’s Governmental Services Group, leading the team and researching new Governmental Accounting Standards Board statements to develop best practices for staff working with clients.
Matthew Neu, CPA joined the team in 1999, and provides audit services to nonprofit organizations, commercial entities, governmental entities, and employee benefit plans, along with performing compilation and review engagements at the Manitowoc office.
Neu is also an active member of the firm’s Nonprofit Service Group and Employee Benefit Plan Service Group.
