Local gas prices dipped slightly over the past week after the recent surge.
According to statistics from the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County’s average is down a penny this week to $2.85 per gallon but is still up ten cents from the last week of 2024.
Sheboygan County, meanwhile, reported a four-cent drop to $2.84 per gallon, while Calumet County’s average is down a nickel to $2.88.
Outagamie County saw a six-cent drop to $2.84, while Brown County motorists are seeing the biggest reprieve, a seven-cent dip to $2.84 per gallon on average.
Kewaunee County’s average is down five cents to $2.88, while Door County reported a four-cent drop to $2.85.
The state average is also down four cents to $2.84, while the national average remained unchanged at $3.06.
These are average throughout the counties, so the price at individual pumps may be higher or lower than the county average.
