A Manitowoc brewery is a finalist in a contest through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
Craft Creek Brewery competes against two other businesses to win up to $5,000 through the Main Street Place Makeover Contest.
It would assist businesses in enhancing outdoor space, including a patio, sidewalk, parking lot, etc.
Craft Creek built an asphalt driveway space when visitors started bringing their dogs.
However, the space doesn’t have an ambiance that could be more functional to support the brewery’s event schedule, like the Bike n’ Brew, Dogs Day Out, and more.
Applicants were evaluated based on their overall visibility and a space’s potential to positively impact the business and surrounding area.
The winner will be announced later this month, and the transformed space will be unveiled during a public celebration featuring state and local officials later this summer.
