Retro squad cars have been unveiled to celebrate a significant anniversary for the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office.
The Patrol Division of the Sheriff’s Office is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025.
In 1925, the county created its traffic patrol unit, the Patrol Division’s predecessor.
To celebrate the anniversary, the Sheriff’s Office will use newly designed squad cars as an homage to the cars driven by deputies in the 1940’s.
The cars will feature a two-tone design, a replica shield used in the Sheriff’s Office’s early days, and the 100th anniversary logo on the rear fender.
Throughout the year, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office will share more about the Patrol Division’s 100th anniversary.
They have also said there will be more ways for community members to celebrate the milestone in the future.
