The Wisconsin Safety Council launched nominations for its 31st annual awards program, now named the Workplace Safety Awards.
The program, previously known as the Corporate Safety Awards, is presented in partnership with M3 Insurance and the Department of Workforce Development.
The awards recognize Wisconsin companies that are dedicated to assuring their most valuable asset — their employees — are safe on the job.
A panel of independent safety, health, and insurance professionals will select winners based on company safety records, training programs, safety and health leadership, and other accomplishments.
The awards are distributed based on company size in three categories: Manufacturing; Agriculture, Transportation, Utilities & Other; and Construction.
A total of up to ten grand awards will be presented. Nominations are due February 3rd by 12:00 p.m. and can be submitted on the Wisconsin Safety Council’s website.
The awards will be presented at the Wisconsin Safety Council Annual Conference, held April 14th through the 16th in Wisconsin Dells.
