A movie theater in Sheboygan will be hosting showings of an upcoming film centered around Wisconsin.
Green and Gold, staring Craig T. Nelson, tells the story of a struggling family farmer wagers everything on a high-stakes Championship bet, while his granddaughter’s musical ambitions could be their ticket to a new beginning.
Directors Anders & Davin Lindwall call the film a “tribute to the unsung heroes who shape communities, preserve traditions, and steadfastly anchor the world through selfless kindness, unwavering hard work, and a profound appreciation for life’s simplest yet most valuable things.”
The Lindwalls partnered with Culvers and the Green Bay Packers to make the movie, which also features real-life farmers, Dave & Tamie Grasse, Philip & Mary Bley, and John Sawyer.
It will be shown in limited theaters, including the Marcus Cinema in Sheboygan.
The first showing will begin at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, January 31st, while the first showing at the Marcus Green Bay East Cinema will be at 7:00 that same evening.
