The Wisconsin Court of Appeals will release their opinion in the latest appeal from Steven Avery.
The 62-year-old is serving a life sentence for the murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005.
The appeal filed by Attorney Kathleen Zellner wants the appellate court to reverse the conviction.
According to documents, Avery’s attorneys are arguing that “The circuit court erred on its evaluation of the materiality prong of the newly discovered evidence test.”
The appellate court’s decision is scheduled to be released tomorrow (January 15th).
