
Several local and area girls’ basketball teams continue or begin their trek to the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon, where the WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament will be held in a couple of weeks.
In Division Four, top seed Manitowoc Lutheran, after a first-round bye, opens tournament play at home against the Kohler Blue Bombers.
Kohler defeated Howards Grove 49 to 46 on Tuesday night to advance.

Also in Division Four, Valders hosts Algoma, Brillion heads to Fond Du Lac to play St. Mary Spring’s, Kewaunee hosts Cedar Gove/Belgium, St. Mary Catholic entertains Manawa, Crandon hosts Oconto, and Bonduel hosts Weyauwega-Fremont.
In Division One, Manitowoc Lincoln opens tournament play at De Pere against the Redbirds.
De Pere won the two regular season meetings between the two teams.

Division Three games include Kiel hosting Chilton, Denmark visits Omro, Sheboygan Falls is home for Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy of Milwaukee, Oostburg hosts Kewaskum, Wrightstown heads to Seymour, Berlin is at Xavier, Freedom hosts Amherst, Ripon visits Winneconne, Laconia is home for Winnebago Lutheran Academy and East Troy hosts North Fond Du Lac.
Division Two matchups include Menasha at Ashwaubenon, Plymouth at West De Pere, Luxemburg-Casco hosting Pulaski, and Fox Valley Lutheran at Waupaca.
