A man has died after he was found in Lake Butte de Mortes.
Menasha Police say they were called to the area of Emily and Ninth Street for a report of a male yelling.
When they arrived, officers saw the male 15-20 feet offshore just south of the Ninth Street boat landing.
Officers tried to reach the 67-year-old using a throwable floating disc but with no success.
A police officer eventually went into the water to try and save the man.
Menasha Police say after the 67-year-old victim was taken to a hospital where he passed away.
The investigation is still active, but no future details are being released right now.
The name of the man was not announced.
