Each year, the Rahr-West Art Museum takes time to highlight the phenomenal artistic talents of our community. Beginning August 26 and running through September 16, the museum will be filled with amazing pieces of artwork created by Rahr-West Members and residents of Manitowoc County. Artwork in all forms will be on display, including paintings, photography, pottery, sculpture, woodwork, jewelry, assemblage and more. Many of these pieces are for sale, making fantastic gifts or a perfect addition to home decor. Members of the public are invited to an opening reception on Sunday, August 26 at 1pm.
Once again artists will be awarded in two categories – Artists’ Choice and Viewers’ Choice. The Artists’ Choice is determined by those artists participating in the exhibit; and the Viewers’ Choice is determined by you, the viewer. The Viewers’ Choice is divided into two categories – two dimensional art and three dimensional art. Please be sure to cast a vote for your favorite.
