Alice R. Nass, age 98, a resident of Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, peacefully entered eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday afternoon, November 11, 2018.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. Rev. Victor Headrick will officiate with burial to follow at the Church Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg and on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of services at 11:00am.
Survivors include her four sons and daughters-in-law: Philip and Cynthia Nass, Manitowoc, Thomas and Dianne Nass, Germantown, Steven and Susan Nass, Manitowoc, and Peter and Julie Nass, Manitowoc; 14 grandchildren: Adam (Kendel), Jennifer (Jason Helfer), Megan (Chad Spaeth), Timothy (Amy), Jeffrey (Jill), Jonathan (Erin), Lindsay (Jake) Kroll, Sarah (Robert) Krause, Jacob (Amanda), David (Amber), Mara (Tyler) Morgan, Keren, Leah, and Hannah along with 21 great-grandchildren. Alice also is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: August and Ella (Luebke) Schwalbe; her husband: Elroy W. Nass on January 9, 1999; her brother, Milton (Sylvia) Schwalbe; her sister, Gladys Johnson and two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clairmont (Evelyn) Nass and Kermit (Irma) Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Newtonburg or to Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
