People all over Manitowoc County are being affected by the melting snow, which is causing massive flooding issues. We were able to talk with Manitowoc County Emergency Services Director, Travis Waack who said that there are too many streets covered in water to even begin to name, but as of right now, they have one major focus right now.
The Town of Two Rivers has ordered an evacuation for people that live around the dam, and issued the order door to door, to make sure everyone was notified. Waack also told us about some people that were essentially flooded in.
There is some positive news however.
Waack told us that if you do not feel safe you your home, you should evacuate, and either stay with friends or family, or you can go to the County Highway Shop, where Waack and his team have set up their command center.
