Brewers’ outfielder Brett Phillips has made the Prospect Team of the Week from M-L-B Pipeline Dot Com. He homered in back to back games for Triple “A” Colorado Springs during the weekend, and he has already matched a career season high with 17 dingers in 76 games. Phillips, rated Milwaukee’s tenth best prospect by the Pipeline, scored ten runs in eight games last week — tied for the most in the minors. He also drove in 12 runs in those contests. The 23-year-old Phillips came to the Milwaukee organization two years ago from Houston, in the Carlos Gomez trade that triggered the Brewers’ long term rebuilding process.
