Heavy rains and floods are causing delays at the W-I-A-A state high school summer baseball tournament. Sixteen regional winners were supposed to be determined Wednesday, but only one of the four top seeds played as Number One New Holstein eliminated Oostburg 4-3. The other Number Ones — West Bend West, Oak Creek, and Milwaukee Marquette — all had their regional finals postponed until this (Thursday) evening. Two time defending champion Menomonee Falls stayed alive Wednesday with a 4-3 victory against Cedarburg, and the third seeded Falls will play Kewaskum in Monday’s sectional opener.
