PGA: Stricker, Wilson Play In John Deere Classic

In golf, Steve Stricker of Madison and Pewaukee native Mark Wilson will play at the P-G-A’s John Deere Classic that starts today (Thursday) in Silvis, Illinois. Stricker has had unusual success at the T-P-C Deere Run course, but it’s been six years since he won his third straight tournament there. Jerry Kelly of Madison will compete in the Constellation Senior Players Championship. That four round tournament begins today (Thursday) in Baltimore.
