The 2017 Farm Technology Days was touted as a success. Kewaunne County was the home of the three day event, and more specifically Algoma. The first day brought in over 10,000 visitors to what our own Jim Medley called “tent city.” The opening ceremony alone drew a crowd of around 550, which is a new record for the event. Rain during the early part of day two didn’t slow the event down, as teams vacuumed up rain water, and laid down wood chips. An astonishing 15,000 hamburgers and cheeseburgers were consumed, as well as over 11,000 bowls of rice.
