There’s a three way tie for the lead at the halfway point of the State Amateur golf tournament in Oconomowoc. Jacob Michel of Lodi, Phillip Johnson of Colgate, and Eddie Wajda of Brookfield are all three below par at 137 after 36 holes. Michel and Wajda both shot 68s in their second rounds on Tuesday, and Johnson — who shared the first round lead with Ben Skogen of Onalaska — carded a 71. Samuel Anderson of Stoughton is one stroke off the lead in fourth. Skogen is now in a three way tie for fifth with Matt Tolan of Eau Claire and Tyler Church of Onalaska, all at two strokes back.
