After months of displacement, some of the residents of the Parkview Haven Apartments have been allowed to move back. Of the 80 residents that were displaced, 20 people who lived on the first and second floors. have been able to move back in, while those living on the third floor continue to wait. Residents were forced to find other places to live after a fire back in early May, which killed one resident. The transition was made as smooth as possible with help from the American Red Cross, and Wilson Jr. High School, who allowed residents to stay in their gymnasium, until a more permanent solution was found.
