Receiver Max McCaffrey is having a solid training camp so far with the Green Bay Packers. He’s made a large percentage of the catches during the scrimmages — and quarterbacks have found him wide open in numerous pockets up the field. Max McCaffrey is the son of N-F-L receiver Ed McCaffrey — and veteran Jordy Nelson says he understands the little things about footwork and creating openings on his routes. McCaffrey played four years at Duke before joining the Oakland Raiders last May — but he was cut after Training Camp and did not play until the Packers put him on their practice squad last December. Green Bay had a nighttime practice Thursday, and they’ll have another one tonight (Friday) before the team’s annual Family Night on Saturday at Lambeau Field.
