Green Bay G-M Ted Thompson says he’ll look for leadership skills from quarterback Brett Hundley when the Packers host Philadelphia tonight (Thursday) in their exhibition opener. Aaron Rodgers will be among the starters on the sideline, giving the third year Hundley a chance to audition for a starting job elsewhere after the Packers reportedly came close to trading him in April. Q-B coach Alex Van Pelt says Hundley has improved his footwork since last year, and he has a better “feel” for the rhythm of the passing game. Hundley did not get much of a chance to play in last year’s preseason, when he appeared in just one game due to a sprained ankle suffered at practice. Tonight (Thursday), corner Davon House is out with a bad hamstring and tight end Richard Rodgers is among those listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury.
