Officer Involved in Fatal Shooting in Kewaunee County

There was an officer-involved fatal shooting in ‘Kewaunee’ County last night.   Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski (jah’-skee) said deputies responded about 8:00 o’clock to a house….in the town of Franklin.  The sheriff stated a male suspect died in the incident while the deputy who shot him..was ‘not’ injured.  Joski says the identity of the officer and the suspect are not being released…and a news conference will be held this morning to disclose details of the shooting.  The state justice department is on the scene and will lead the investigation.  Sheriff joski said there is ‘no’ threat to the community.
