The Green Bay Packers are reportedly looking at veteran outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks, who was cut by San Francisco Friday for salary cap reasons. The 33-year-old Brooks has played nine seasons with the 49ers, with at least five sacks in each of the last eight years and a career high eight and a half sacks in 2013 when he made the Pro Bowl. The Packers have had question marks at outside linebacker beyond starters Clay Matthews and Nick Perry. That includes injury issues for rookie and former Badger Vince Biegel and Perry’s ankle injury in Saturday night’s exhibition loss at Denver. The Packers are 2-1 in the preseason, and those on the bubble will get one final chance to prove themselves Thursday night when Green Bay hosts the L-A Rams in their exhibition finale.
