Texas was slammed by the fourth largest hurricane in U.S. history over the weekend. At lest 25 inches of rain have flooded South east Texas, leaving many people stranded. Residents of the area were advised to evacuate, and that’s just what Lakeshore native David Grall and his family did. The 55 year old Rancalli High School graduate was originally going to wait out the storm, but as it increased to a category 3, they decided to hit the road. Grall moved to Corpus Christi, Texas after graduating from UW-Stevens Point, and has been working as a ranch and wildlife consultant. The death toll from the hurricane is unclear.
