Dane County sheriff’s deputies are now investigating the death of a 28-year-old man as a homicide. The county medical examiner says Nathan Priewe of Cambridge died from blunt force injuries consistent with a homicide. Deputies said Priewe was in a fight early Saturday at Kurt’s Never Inn in Deerfield, and he was found dead later Saturday morning at an apartment. Deputies also say they’ve taken a 27-year-old man into custody as a person of interest in the case. He’s being held for violating a previous probation for four time drunk driving.
