High School Sports Wrap Up

The Manitowoc Lincoln High School Boys Soccer team pushed last year’s WIAA Division One State runner-up, Green Bay Preble, to the limit before falling to the Hornets 2-0 last night. The visitors led at the half 1-0 before adding a second score at the 49:51 mark of the match. Preble out shot Lincoln 5-4 and Garret Hammill had 3 saves in goal for the Ships, now 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the FRCC. Following the match at Ron Rubic Municipal Field, Coach Chris Callen said his team had a very solid showing against a high level of competition.
