A man was airlifted to a hospital after his car was struck by a train in Sheboygan County, near the town of Holland. The incident took place around midnight, when a Union Pacific train struck the car on Hoftiezer Road, east of Kappers Road. When authorities arrived, they found an injured 24 year old man inside the vehicle, and he was airlifted to Theda Clark Medical Center. The driver appears to have been speeding, and failed to obey a yield sign. He was not wearing his seatbelt.
