Early this morning the Manitowoc Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity on the 700 block of N. 5th Street. The report said that 2 men were seen climbing up onto an exterior balcony on a residence. When police arrived, one of the men, a 25 year old Brookfield resident attempted to flee the scene. The man was caught and apprehended with the help of a Taser. The other man, a 30 year old Wausaukee resident was apprehended without a struggle. Both men are being charged with Burglary, and Criminal Damage to Property, the 25 year old also faces charges of Possession of THC, and Possession of Burglarious Tools.
