A La Crosse woman has been sentenced to eight months of electronic monitoring, for not trying to stop the murder of her boyfriend’s three-year-old daughter. 27-year-old Jaymie Rundle pleaded no contest to being a party to child neglect — and a count of physical abuse was dropped in a plea deal. The boyfriend, 32-year-old Dylan Bartsh of Winona, Minnesota, told officers he “checked out” of caring for his daughter Audryna — and she died in 2014 from a seizure after numerous scrapes and bruises, plus dehydration and bleeding in her brain. Prosecutors say Rundle should have done something but her lawyer said she feared what might have happened to her. A judge agreed to expunge her conviction after three years if she follows conditions — like testifying against Bartsh in a trial that’s scheduled to begin January 29th.
