Man Breaks into Home, Attacks Resident

A man broke into a Manitowoc home on Monday, and attacked the female resident, whom with he has a child. The incident took place around 8:40 AM in the 1700 block of New York Ave, when the man kicked in the door, damaging the frame. He then confronted the woman who was asleep at the time, and began shaking her. Another man told him to leave, but was head-butted by the intruder. The intruder was identified to police by the female victim, and was arrested. He is facing charges of Disorderly conduct, Battery, Criminal Trespass to a Dwelling, and Criminal Damage to Property.
