Wisconsin released its annual property tax report, and Sheboygan County has shown massive growth. Sheboygan County saw a 5.4% growth in construction value, equating to nearly $160 million. That growth is significantly more than the 4.1% growth the state as a whole saw. Most of the development in the county was commercial development, easily outgrowing many comparable areas such as Rock, Fond du Lac, and Outagamie Counties. The local growth in commercial was over 30% faster than the state overall. They did however underperform in residential development, coming in 40% below the state average.
