Jets & Lancers Cross Country

Roncalli & Manitowoc Lutheran cross country runners competed over the weekend at the ‘40^th’ annual ‘Hilltopper Invitational’ at St. Lawrence Seminary in Mt. Calvary.  The Freedom Irish captured both the boys & girls divisions. The ‘Lancer boys’ wound up 5^th, led by sophomore Nolan Winter..who placed 4^th overall.  The ‘Jets’ ended up 10^th…and ‘their’ top finisher, junior Chombi Lambert, was 5^th in the race.  On the ‘girls’ side….Roncalli came in 7^th with senior, Sydney Fricke, pacing her team at #21 overall…..and Lutheran was ‘9^th, led by sophomore Lydia Hecker… who was 36^th’ overall..on a very warm, humid day.
