Four Green Bay Area Public Schools were put on lockdown yesterday. A written school shooting threat was found at Southwest High School, prompting the lockdown of that school, as well as Southwest Lombardi Middle School, MacArthur Elementary, and King Elementary Schools. According to police, the note was found by a student at Southwest High, who then gave it to his mother. The mother called the police, who identified the student who left the note via security camera footage. No weapons were located and police believe there is no danger to the public or students.
