A Green Bay Police Dog will begin living the life of a civilian. K9 Vilac served his last day on the force back on September 15th, and is now officially retired. The 11 year old German Sheppard has faithfully served the Green Bay community for 7 years on the night shift. Vilac has been on countless calls, and helped remove a large amount of narcotics off of the streets. Officer Rodney Reetz, Vilac’s handler, will continue to care for him after medical issues caused Vilac to step down.
