From September 25 – October 6, 2017, Point Beach Nuclear Plant will be performing maintenance on a number of sirens located within ten miles of the plant located in northeast Manitowoc County.
During the testing, residents may hear actual siren activations up to three minutes, and notice activity going on around the siren sites. Routine maintenance helps to ensure that sirens around the plant are in working order.
