Baby Hospitalized After Almost Drowning In Motel Tub

A ten-month-old baby is hospitalized in intensive care, after almost drowning in the bathtub of a motel room in the Wisconsin Dells area. Lake Delton Police were called to the Delton Motel around eight Wednesday night. Officials say the parents were in the room at the time, but they left the baby and a two-year-old child unattended. And when the mother went in the bathroom, she found the infant face down in the tub’s water. Rescuers tried to resuscitate the baby, who was then flown to U-W Hospital in Madison. The infant’s name was not immediately released.
