Milwaukee Police are still looking for suspects in the theft of a car owned by Alderman Cavalier “Chevy” Johnson. He says his wife woke up in the middle of the night last Tuesday and saw that the car she mainly uses was gone. Johnson called police — and two days later, officers found the Honda C-R-V in a different neighborhood, where residents told police they saw unfamiliar people doing unusual things. Johnson tells the Journal Sentinel the car had a scuff on the rear bumper but was otherwise unharmed. No arrests have been made, but Johnson says he’s grateful to get the car back — and he thanked the residents who called police and helped him get it back.
