Wisconsin native and actor Tom Wopat is accused of indecently touching a second female in the cast of “42nd Street” while rehearsing this summer near Boston. The 66-year-old former Lodi (low die) resident is due in court October 23rd on new charges that he indecently assaulted a 16-year-old girl during rehearsals in July. Police say they interviewed the teen about two weeks after he pleaded not guilty to groping the posterior of an adult female cast member from the same show. Prosecutors in Middlesex County, Massachusetts say the new charges are indecent assault and battery on a person older than 14, plus two counts of accosting and annoying a person of the opposite sex. Wopat has been a Broadway actor and singer after starring in the 1980s T-V show “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and he’s due in court October 23rd.
