Playing without seven injured teammates as the game started, quarterback Aaron Rodgers fired four touchdown passes in a 35-14 win for the Packers over the arch-rival Chicago Bears. The attrition continued during the contest when running back Ty Montgomery was sidelined by broken ribs and wide receiver Davante Adams was knocked out by a shot to the head. The game was stopped nearly 50 minutes by a lightning-filled storm. Adams caught the first T-D pass from Rodgers and Randall Cobb, the second. Jordy Nelson grabbed the last two scoring passes. Rookie Aaron Jones scored the Packers only rushing touchdown. Green Bay plays at Dallas a week from Sunday. The Bears host Minnesota on Monday Night Football October 9th.
