Shady Lane will be hosting another Caregiver’s Morning Out on Wednesday October 18th at Laurel Grove Assisted Living, located at1235 South 24th Street. This time around, they will address expectations, managing situations and modifying environments for people with dementia, and will feature a presentation by Sue Quirt of Laurel Grove entitled “The Gems®: Brain Change Model” a program exploring the stages of dementia and learning to manage them. The programs are free of charge and include a time for conversation and refreshments.
