The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has contacted students, staff members and faculty, telling them spring break is being extended by a week.
The additional time off will be used by the university to get ready to move most of its classes online due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Spring break will now end March 29th.
The step was taken after a university employee became sick following contact with a second person who had traveled from a country with a level-three warning.
