Among the different strategies pursued to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, the N-B-A’s approach is the most emphatic.
The league schedule – including tonight’s (Thursday’s) Bucks-Celtics game – has been suspended until further notice.
Most teams have 18 games left in the 2019-2020 season. It isn’t clear if the missed games will be made up and the N-B-A has set no timetable for the resumption of play.

Meanwhile, the N-C-A-A announces attendance for Division One men’s and women’s basketball tournaments will be limited.
This also effects the the Big Ten Conference Tournament that starts today (Wednesday).
When the Wisconsin women’s hockey team hosts Clarkson Saturday at LaBahn Arena the audience will be “reduced,” with four tickets available for each coach and player only.
