The Milwaukee Bucks will play their third exhibition game tonight (Friday) at Chicago. And coach Jason Kidd then plans to cut some players to get Milwaukee down to its regular season roster limit of 15 — possibly before the team’s final exhibition one week from tonight (Friday). Veterans Brandon Rush, Gerald Green, Joel Anthony, Gary Payton the Second, and Kendall Marshall are all competing for the Bucks’ one open roster slot. Also, the team added fourth year pro Xavier Munford Thursday to fill the slot of James Young, who’s had a concussion and was let go on Wednesday. Munford, a guard, has averaged 16 points a game in three years in the developmental “G” League.
