As a part of ongoing University efforts to keep students, faculty and staff healthy and safe, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay announced that it is extending alternative class delivery through the spring semester.
Students who are able to return to their primary residence following spring break are strongly urged to do so, but university housing will remain open to anyone who needs residence.
“We must do our part to contain the spread of the coronavirus, including community spread,” said Interim Chancellor Sheryl Van Gruensven. “We do not want to look back in months or years and see that we could have done more to protect our people and our communities.”
The decisions to continue education in alternative modes will not affect students’ ability to graduate or progress in their academic careers, as students will get credit for completing coursework.
