Just two weeks are left in the high school football regular season. Games of local and area interest in week ‘8’, include:
F-r-c-c:
*Manitowoc Lincoln at Sheboygan South..where it’s the Redwings homecoming.
In the Eastern Wisconsin Conference:
*Two Rivers is on the road at Valders..where the winner becomes playoff-eligible.
*Chilton faces Roncalli here in Manitowoc (at Ron Rubick Municipal Field.)
*the 1st & 2nd place teams in the EWC collide in Kiel..where the Raiders host league leading Sheboygan Falls.
*and, playoff hopeful New Holstein…travels to Brillion.
In the big east:
*Manitowoc Lutheran can solidify its’ post-season plans with a win over visiting Random Lake.
*Mishicot…plays its’ homecoming game tonight against Ozaukee..and needs a win to keep its’ playoff hopes alive.
*Reedsville..can move closer to a playoff berth if it can defeat host St. Mary Catholic.
In the north eastern conference:
*Denmark…travels to Little Chute.
In non-conference action:
*5-and-2 Kewaunee will host Tomahawk.
The high school football play-by-play schedule has the Ships & South Redwings on WOMT and womtradio-dot-com. The Raiders & Vikings will be on the air from Valders….also at 6:45…on AM-980, WCUB. (and, we plan to have scores of other area games as well.)
