Julie Grossman, the CEO of the Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA, has announced the start of Y Pop Up Care for Essential Service Providers.
This program allows those with jobs that have been deemed essential by the governor to continue to do their job, while The YMCA watches after their children.
In a news release, Julie stated, “We are deeply saddened by the situation that brought us here but resolved more than ever to do what we can to get us through this time. Taking care of your child(ren) to ensure your uninterrupted ability to do your urgent work is an honor.”
She also reiterated that they will be taking every precaution to ensure that all children are healthy and will take their temperatures daily to help combat the spread of COVID-19.
