Even though they cannot distribute books or movies right now, the staff at the Lester Public Library in Two Rivers is remaining busy.
We spoke with the Director of the Library, Jeff Dawson, who told SeehaferNews.com that his staff is still going to work every day. He said his staff is not only checking in materials daily, but they are also doing some special projects, including doing some interior painting and some major rearranging.
He also wanted to ensure their users of a few things, including that they are “suspending all holds and interlibrary loans” and that “there will be no fines on returned materials” through the end of the pandemic.
Dawson also informed us that they had to cancel their national library week program. This would have been the seventh year of the program, but due to the pandemic, it will not be going on.
